Laurence Tremblay-Vu is a multidisciplinary circus artist specialized in highwire, tightwire and aerial rope.

Before graduating from École Nationale de cirque de Montréal in 2013, he completed a university degree in Environmental Design and Architecture at UQÀM, in Canada. He also trained alongside various highwire artists like Rick Wallenda and Denis Josselin.

Along Cirque du Soleil special events, 2010 Olympic ceremonies, Robert Lepage's Faust opera, German varieté cabaret, river crossings in Europe, festivals, television sets and big tops, his expertise has grown stronger. The nomadic side of circus also triggers his passion. After touring in Switzerland with Cirque Starlight 2014, he decided to visit traditional forms of circuses  in Brazil, Colombia and Vietnam.

Aside performing, one of his objectives is to help others become greater individuals in their community and to develop their full potential. As part of Cirqiniq, he shares his knowledge as a social circus instructor with Inuit communities in Nunavik, Northern Québec, and Cameleon, an association dedicated to victims of sexual abuse in the Philippines.

His creative path first evolved within the field of visual arts, he now desires to combine installation and performance art with circus, as well as various collaborative projects in dance, music and multimedia.

" My circus is imprinted by the quest for balance, depth of yoga practice, mental and body awareness as well as the flow of energy within movement. Influenced by my dual Canadian and Vietnamese heritage my art form tries to honor the human spirit and my authentic self.
